He obtained his undergraduate degree from Duke University before moving on to Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for his medical degree. 

Dr. Rojas completed his residency at Wayne State University and Beaumont Health Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, serving as the program's chief resident for two years. He also completed a fellowship at Interventional Spine and Sports at Sonoran Spine in Tempe, Arizona.
